The SureFire EDC2-DFT Turbo Tan Dual Fuel LED Flashlight is engineered to deliver exceptional long-distance illumination from a compact everyday carry platform. Featuring SureFire’s Turbo Series reflector, the EDC2-DFT produces an intensely focused beam with exceptionally high candela, allowing users to identify objects and potential threats at extended distances while maintaining useful peripheral illumination.
The flashlight utilizes Dual Fuel technology, operating on the included SF18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery or 2 SureFire 123A lithium batteries. When powered by the rechargeable battery, the light produces up to 700 lumens, 100,000 candela, and a beam distance of 632 metres. Using two 123A batteries, output is 600 lumens, 90,000 candela, and a beam distance of 600 metres.
The precision-engineered smooth parabolic reflector is optimized for maximum beam intensity and long-range performance, while the multi-output interface provides both a High mode for maximum illumination and a Low mode for close-range tasks and extended runtime.
Constructed from Mil-Spec hard-anodized aluminum, the EDC2-DFT is built to withstand demanding environments. The body and tailcap feature aggressive knurling for a secure grip, while the reversible pocket clip allows bezel-up or bezel-down carry. An IPX7 waterproof rating provides protection against temporary immersion in water up to one metre for 30 minutes.
