The Russian SKS is a gas operated, semi-automatic firearm engineered to be a military rifle in the 1950’s. It utilizes a tilting bolt action system. Integrated into each rifle are a 5-round magazine and folding bayonet. As one of the most popular surplus rifles in Canada because of its readily available ammo, this rifle is great for plinking or hunting.
