FAQS
What is Range Arts?
Range Arts is a locally owned and operated business in the GTA specializing in firearms safety training and providing sports shooting and hunting gear. We can guide you along your journey from safety courses and licensing all the way to getting out shooting.
We’re experience-first. Range Arts started in 2020 with training and education. Now we're expanding into expert support for our clients as they gear up. Whether you’re starting out or refining your setup, we’re here to help you make great choices.
Yes, but we only sell to Canadian addresses. If buying Firearms or Ammunition, Canadian law requires a licence. Firearms purchases must be shipped to a licensed individual, and we may contact you to confirm your license status and arrange the transfer. Please ensure all the information you provide us at checkout is accurate and that your PAL is up to date.
If you’re new to this, the PAL is the type of licence required for anyone wishing to acquire firearms. An individual must successfully complete the Canadian Firearms Safety Course to obtain this licence for **non-Restricted** firearms. To upgrade this licence for **Restricted** firearms an individual must also successfully complete the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course and tests.
If you're interested in a licence, head over to Range Arts Training - we have all the info you need there.
Some products (like firearms, certain parts, and ammunition) require a valid Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) or RPAL. Items like apparel, optics, and accessories do not. Licence requirements are noted on each product page and the requirement to provide licence information at checkout is contextual to items which are in the cart. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.Likewise, we may contact you to confirm licensing and arrange shipping.
Yes! Choose “Local Pickup” at checkout and we’ll email you when your order is ready at our Mississauga location.
Traditionally, a Gunfitter was someone who adjusted a firearm’s stock to perfectly fit its user.
At Range Arts, we’ve expanded that meaning. Our Gunfitters are experts who help you assess products and discover the right fit — for your build, style, and purpose. We mean that quite literally.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
